Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 August 2026

These terms govern the booking of tours and services with Naya Safar (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting a booking enquiry, paying a deposit or travelling with us, you (“you”, “the traveller”) agree to the terms below. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Bookings & confirmation

A booking is confirmed only once we have accepted it and received your deposit. Enquiries submitted through our website or WhatsApp are requests, not confirmed reservations. We will confirm availability, share a full day-by-day plan and a written quote before any payment is due.

2. Payment schedule

All tour prices are quoted per person in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless stated otherwise.

  • 50% deposit of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking and secure transport, accommodation and permits.
  • The remaining 50% balance is payable on the day of departure (or earlier by prior agreement). Your place is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.

If the balance is not paid by departure, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and apply the cancellation terms below.

3. Cancellations & refunds

If you cancel

To cancel, notify us in writing (WhatsApp or email). Refunds of the deposit depend on how much notice we receive before the departure date:

  • 30 days or more before departure — full refund of your deposit.
  • 15 to 29 days before departure — 50% of your deposit is refunded.
  • Less than 15 days before departure — the deposit is non-refundable.

Because the 50% balance is only collected at departure, it is not normally at risk. Where a balance has been paid early and you cancel, that balance is refunded in full; only the deposit is subject to the tiers above.

If we cancel

We may cancel or reschedule a departure for reasons including insufficient group size, unsafe road or weather conditions, or events beyond our control (see “Force majeure”). If we cancel, you may choose either a full refund of all payments made to us or to transfer your payment to another date or tour of equal value. We are not liable for third-party costs such as airfare, personal expenses or non-refundable bookings you made separately.

4. Changes to your trip

Mountain travel is unpredictable. We may adjust the itinerary, accommodation or route to protect your safety or in response to road, weather or permit conditions. We will always aim to keep the spirit and value of the trip. Changes you request after confirmation are subject to availability and any additional costs.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate traveller details and any medical conditions that may affect your trip.
  • Carry valid identification and any documents or permits we advise (we arrange tour permits).
  • Ensure you are in reasonable health for high-altitude and mountain travel.
  • Follow the reasonable instructions of your guide, particularly on safety.
  • Respect local communities, customs and the environment.

6. Health, safety & risk

Travel in Northern Pakistan involves remote areas, high altitude and mountain roads that carry inherent risks. You travel with an understanding and acceptance of these risks. Our guides pace itineraries to help with acclimatisation, but you are responsible for disclosing health conditions and for your personal fitness to travel.

7. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings. Insurance is not included in our tour prices.

8. Liability

We take great care in selecting drivers, vehicles, accommodation and guides. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay or additional cost arising from events beyond our reasonable control, or from your own acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure to deliver a tour due to circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, landslides or road closures, strikes, government action, security situations, pandemics or other events that make a trip unsafe or impossible.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
